WHAT DOES GENEROSITY MEAN TO...

CORNELIA CONNELLY

Cornelia was always generous with her skills, time and resources. When her personal life was in turmoil, Cornelia, possibly more than ever, was generous with what she had. By educating local mill girls, she devoted her life to her philosophy of teaching. This selflessness is a testament to Cornelia's generous nature.

In HCK, every student knows that should they need it, their peers, teachers and school staff will give, in abundance, their time and resources. This security and support is an important constant withing the school community but is vital during times of need."

Holy Child students are taught to always look out for those most in need. Through social action initiatives, community involvement and eduction, students are ecouraged to be generous, not only to those closest to them but also to people, sometimes thousands of miles away, of whom they have never met.

The SHCJ, give their time, resources and skills in abundance to communities all over the world. Through ministries helping refugees, asylum seekers and migrants, along side their educational initaves, SHCJ members always consider of the needs of others and share their support and time in whatever means possible.
