WHAT DOES GRATITUDE MEAN TO...
Cornelia was always grateful for what God had given her and she learnt to never take these gifts for granted. Despite facing trying times, and having those closest to her taken away, the absence of resentment or bitterness highlights her gratitude for God's gifts and her acknowledgement of their impact on her life.
A MEMBER OF CORNELIA HOUSE
"In HCK we have a lot to be grateful for. We have great teachers and facilities and a really great energy between students. We're able to be dancing on tables one minute and supporting each other through difficult times in the next and this is something that I am really grateful for in Holy Child."
A HOLY CHILD SCHOOL
Every student of a Holy Child school has the privilege of receiving a Cornelian education. Students are instilled with a gratitude for everything they have both in school but also in the wider world. Students are grateful for the Cornelian values which guide them through their schooling and their life in general.
A MEMBER OF THE SHCJ
The legacy which SHCJ members share of is one of giving thanks. Cornelia's message, spread through the SHCJ, asks us to recognise all that we have rather than focusing on what we do not. This allows SHCJ members to reflect on not only God's gifts but also the values that they have received through teaching Cornelia's message.
