Cornelia was faced with many obstacles throughout her life; however, she never allowed these to hold her back. The adversities she faced shaped who she became and the root which led to the founding of the SHCJ. Under her guidence its mission came to fruition.

Holy Child students are taught to not only flourish when the circumstances allow but also to challenge adversities and flourish through tough times. A popular saying in Holy Child Killiney that represents this perfectly is "when the going gets tough, the tough get going"!
A MEMBER OF THE SHCJ
The SHCJ, like any community, faces adversities. It is strength of faith and of community that is put to the test during these times. In order to persevere, a community must be able to rely on its members to support each other and this is evident in the vibrant SHCJ communities today.
